ok

so i'm sitting in my bed
looking through different sites down the side of tori's blog
and ended up on the children's cup home page
i started to read through the stories of the kids in africa
and it just astounded me
i know there are kids less fortunate
but to think of how these particular ones live
it is just heart-braking
i know that i have a call on my life
and even though sometimes i want to avoid it
i'm not going to
i want to be a part of changing lives
not sitting in a cushy chair in an office
or listening to rich peoples problems
but handing out food to children who weigh less than i did at the age of 5 at the age of 10
teaching kids who never got that kind of attention
just helping in any way i can
i'm sick of being the way our culture has made me
it's time to go into a survival of the fittest environment
and watch God completely ruin me
i'm so excited just thinking about it
